Wintertime at A Doll's Life For Me

Wintertime at A Doll's Life For Me
My sister is the best Christmas gift I've ever gotten.

Past Story Posts

It's high time I've updated this section, haven't I? This part of the blog has been left under construction for quite some time, except without an "under construction" picture like the other pages are. For this one, I've decided to archive all those posts that are NOT Doll's Life Files or Elsa's 12 Days of Christmas posts, from years 2014 to 2017. Hopefully the links and descriptions will help all of you to better locate your favorite posts in my blog.
***

#1: My New Home and Friends
I get unboxed and invited into the lives of my human, She, a snowman named Olaf, and an action-figure named Loki.

#2: A Thanksgiving Adventure
A few weeks after Olaf, Loki, and I were found, we get left home alone on Thanksgiving Day when we just might have save the holiday ourselves.

#3: She's Scrapbook
I take a much needed break from my 12 Days of Christmas Series (which can be found on its own page) to bring you a random collage of pictures I took with She's camera and a description for each.

#4: Nominated for An Award???!!!
I brag (but only because I'm super excited!) about being nominated for the Liebster Award, which helps little known blogs get recognized on the site. There's also a questionnaire I answer and send out to three other bloggers.

#5: A Celebratory Post
A Doll's Life For Me has three special occasions to celebrate, (being Loki, Olaf, and my finding days, a one year blogaversary, and thanksgiving) so we made doll-sized mac 'n' cheese. The recipe can be found in the post.

#6: Eight Days Alone
During New Year's in 2015, She and her family leave us dolls alone in the house for a week and a day! It was up to us to decide what we did with our time. Ultimately it came down to a lot of things a doll shouldn't be doing.
http://elsa-adollslifeforme.blogspot.com/2016/01/eight-days-alone.html

#7: Super Bowl 50 (A year into the future, 2016)
During the time I wrote posts from 2015 in 2016, there was another break when Super Bowl 50 rolled around. Completely uneducated in the realm of "football" I instead decided to join Loki and Magneto in a game of commercial Bingo. The instructions to make your own board and play the game are also included in the post.

#8: The Beginning of the End
In one of, I would say, our more emotional posts, we find out that Benny must go back to the attic with the other Christmas decorations until next year. But Steve doesn't seem to think so. After our first date, he takes Benny's place. This is also where our very own lovable reindeer Sven is first introduced.

#9. Quote of the Day Challenge (Mini-Series) Post #1
Having been nominated by Treesa in the comments section of a previous post, I decided to have some fun with the quote of the day challenge by making collages out of them on paint. The quote featured here is from Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, one of She's favorite movies.
http://elsa-adollslifeforme.blogspot.com/2016/04/quote-of-day-challenge-mini-series-post.html

#10. Quote of the Day Challenge (Mini-Series) Post #2
A continuation of the challenge, this time using a quote from Frozen, a movie that is obviously close to my heart.
http://elsa-adollslifeforme.blogspot.com/2016/04/quote-of-day-challenge-mini-series-post_13.html

#11. Quote of the Day Challenge (Mini-Series) Post #3
The final day of the challenge, I chose to make a collage of all the dolls that have come to be known on the blog, using a quote about familial puzzles from Bonnie Arbon.

#12. And Another Award!
Surprisingly, I was not forgotten as a blogger in the new realm of 2016. This time I received The Great Doll Blog Award from MyLittleMegara.
http://elsa-adollslifeforme.blogspot.com/2016/05/and-another-award.html

#13. Civil War/ Snowball War 2016
In lieu of a recently released Marvel movie (at least it was at the time) all the dolls here on the blog chose a side and became a part of the biggest paper snowball war I'm sure She's house ever had.

#14. April 23rd, 2016: Collaboration Post with Anna of Just Anna

#16. Magneto's Critique of X-Men: Apocalypse
Written in A Doll's Life File format, Nessa and Magneto hilariously relay their experience of the (at the time) latest X-Men movie when they went to the theater with She.

Along with the page that has ALL the header pictures since the beginning, this is a short and sweet post with the few months I'd missed while on my blogger break.

#19. Opening the Gates: Christmas 2015
It was getting close to my second year of Christmas when we welcomed a new ornament, Elphaba, into the A Doll's Life for Me family, and Steve back from his very long "vacation" in the attic.
http://elsa-adollslifeforme.blogspot.com/2016/12/opening-gates-christmas-2015.html

#20. A Frozen December 2016
The last post done in 2016 was one to remember for us here at A Doll's Life for Me, as I finally got the sixteen inch sister Anna that I'd so long missed until then.

It was time to put up the tiny doll Christmas tree again, and this year we "helped" She by the use of her posing us with various decorations.

#25. Captain's Log: Steve's Year in the Attic Part One
Steve writes his first ever post on the blog, and it's a series about how he spent his year in the attic when he replaced Benny in late 2015 and on to the end of 2016. In the first one, he settles into a temporary home with the doll upstairs, Zayn.
http://elsa-adollslifeforme.blogspot.com/2017/03/captains-log-steves-year-in-attic-part.html

#26. Captain's Log: Steve's Year in the Attic Part Two
Steve sees spring for the first time from the attic in his second published post. He reminisces about... me... (how awkward!) all the while trying to teach Zayn to be a super soldier.
http://elsa-adollslifeforme.blogspot.com/2017/04/captains-log-steves-year-in-attic-part.html

#27. Captain's Log: Steve's Year in the Attic Part Three
Summer seemed particularly unbearable for Steve and Zayn as Steve recalls how the heat drove them a bit crazy... crazy enough to attempt an escape from the attic in risk of breaking the Code of Dolls.
http://elsa-adollslifeforme.blogspot.com/2017/04/captains-log-steves-year-in-attic-part_24.html

#28. Captain's Log: Steve's Year in the Attic Part Four
In this next installment into Steve's posts, he has a big fight with Zayn about mice in the attic and whether or not they can fight the mice themselves, right when a few seconds later a mouse attacks Zayn.
http://elsa-adollslifeforme.blogspot.com/2017/05/captains-log-steves-year-in-attic-part.html

#29. Captain's Log: Steve's Year in the Attic Part Five
It's the end of the year at last for Steve and Zayn. The two sneak into boxes to be taken down to the house with Christmas supplies. From there, Steve reunites with the rest of us in the blog and Zayn gets his happily ever after with Derek, an unfairly ignored Ken doll in the basement. Steve sends them a final bittersweet goodbye before Zayn and Derek get sent off to find a new home through a charity store.

http://elsa-adollslifeforme.blogspot.com/2017/08/moana-and-elsa-in-midnight-mystery.html

#36: She's Finding Day
Our human's finding day is being celebrated by having a murder mystery party, which Nessa desperately wants to copy. But when she turns up unconscious on the freezer, it's less of a party and more of a criminal investigation.
http://elsa-adollslifeforme.blogspot.com/2017/10/shes-finding-day.html
